BUSINESS REPORT ARTICLE RESPONSE
The article that appeared in the Business Report on 21 November 2011 has caused some concern among Sizwe members.
We would like to reassure members that we are paying PMBs in full and are not one of the schemes in contravention of Section 8. Therefore Sizwe is not in danger of being deregistered. Prior to January, we paid PMBs according to approved scheme tariffs.
It is unfortunate that the article and heading may have created some level of concern. We always have the best interests of our members at heart and have therefore always paid PMBs. As a scheme we are committed to ensuring sustainable and affordable healthcare for you, our members.
